The Media & Public Affairs (MPA) Section is responsible for the Embassy's public relations work. It is responsible for publicising UK news and Embassy events, and for handling relations with the media and public.

MPA Section organises press conferences, interviews and seminars; issues press releases and information about the UK and assists journalists with enquiries. The section arranges visits for journalists invited by the British Government to the UK, and can provide contact details and advice for journalists who are planning a visit.

MPA Section works closely with the British Council, the British Government organisation responsible for promoting UK education and culture.

The role of the Media and Public Affairs Section is to provide information about Britain. Those seeking information about South Korea should contact the Republic of Korea Embassy in London.
